Elmer L. (Al) Meszaros is responsible for investment research and stock selection for all client portfolios. He is a highly respected and widely quoted financial analyst with experience in evaluating a variety of industries, including financial services, energy, transportation, utilities, services and manufacturing.
During his career, Mr. Meszaros has visited hundreds of companies and interviewed thousands of executives at those firmsa practice which enabled him to obtain first-hand knowledge of a corporations operating strategies; competitive strengths and weaknesses; and its management priorities, as key components in analyzing a companys stock value.
I have two primary goals at Midwest Investment Management, says Mr. Meszaros. First, I want our clients to be successful long-term investors, and secondly, provide them with the best possible service. We will take the time and the initiative to be responsive to the individual needs and goals of each client.
Mr. Meszaros holds the CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst® designation—the industry’s highest standard for investment knowledge and ethics. He earned his MBA from the Weatherhead School at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and is a member of the Cleveland Society of Security Analysts.
Mr. Meszaros is a trustee of Benedictine High School; is a Director and former President of the Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society; and has served on the United Way Allocation Committee. He resides in Moreland Hills with his wife, Andrea. The couple has three adult children.
