AIMR introduces name change
By J. Mark Wipper, Managing Partner
The Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) changed its name in May to the CFA Institute.
Since 1964, AIMR administered the world-renowned Chartered Financial Analyst programthe most sought-after credential in the investment world.
All three analysts at Midwest Investment ManagementJoe Harrison, Norm Klopp, and Al Meszaroshold this prestigious CFA designation.
Although AIMRs name has changed, its mission as the CFA Institute remains the same:
To lead the investment profession globally by setting the highest standards of education, integrity and professional excellence.
Those same standards also prevail at Midwest Investment Management. We are proud of our three CFAs, their integrity, and the professional guidance they provide to our clients.
