5-Year Review Validates “Value” Investment Style

Midwest Investment Management celebrates its fifth anniversary this month – an important milestone for our clients, employees, stakeholders, and Partners

Although the stock market presented difficult and lingering challenges over the past five years, I am pleased to report that Midwest Investment Management achieved nearly all the strategic objectives our Partners established when our firm opened on January 4, 2000, including:

• Impressive long-term investment results for our clients;
• Affirmation that value investing remains an ideal strategy for long-term growth;
• A growing roster of clients throughout the United States;
• Development of a dynamic and progressive Cleveland-based, Partner-owned company;
• A far-reaching reputation for impeccable client service;

In addition, we have:

• Expanded our services to include the management of funds for company 401(k) and pension plans;
• Provided interesting and challenging career opportunities for our employees and support staff;
• Provided internship opportunities for college students majoring in finance;
• Contributed to the Cleveland community through volunteer efforts in various charitable and non-profit organizations.
